The City is an experimental short film following Loki, a monster navigating a world where he struggles to belong. Inspired by the tragedy of Frankenstein's Monster and German Expressionism, the film explores themes of isolation and identity through surreal visual storytelling.
Acting as Loki, I furthermore led the film's Costume & Makeup Department, overseeing wardrobe sourcing, props and special effects makeup to support the film's visual direction. The film was nominated for Best Experimental Film at the 13th Black Sheep Film Festival.
